Responsibilities

• Apply makeup, paint, wigs, and other accessories to transform a person's appearance


• Use different techniques to enhance a person's beauty, disguise blemishes, or create special effects


• Consider the lighting, setting, and facial features of the client to determine the correct material and application


• Work independently or with a team


• Style hair


• Research makeup and hairstyles of different periods and cultures


• Create styles based on the client's instructions


• Check that design ideas work under different conditions

Qualifications

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and artistic personality.

Education:

• Diploma from a vocational school in cosmetology or makeup


• At least 3 years of experience in the chosen industry.
