Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products or services offered by the company.

  • Utilize various dialing techniques (cold calling, warm calling, etc.) to reach potential clients.

  • Qualify leads by assessing customer interest, needs, and budget.

  • Gather and record customer information accurately in CRM systems.

  • Persuade potential customers to purchase goods or services, highlighting the value proposition and addressing customer concerns.

  • Answer customer questions about products or services, pricing, and promotions.

  • Handle customer objections and complaints effectively and professionally.

  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with qualified leads.

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and quotas.

  • Track and analyze sales performance data.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, leads generated, and conversion rates.

  • Market Knowledge & Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within Nigeria.

  • Adhere to all relevant Nigerian telemarketing regulations and data privacy laws.



Qualifications




  • Bachelors degree in any reputable course but degree in Finance, Accounting, etc. will be an added advantage with a minimum of 2.2.

  • 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service preferred.

  • Fluency in English and at least one other Nigerian language (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is highly

  • Females Preferrably.



Advantageous:




  • Demonstrable knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management principles.



Skills:




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and other relevant languages.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to effectively persuade and negotiate with potential customers.

  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns.

  • Professional phone etiquette and clear, concise communication.

  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software, telephony systems, and other relevant sales tools.

  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
