Job Description
Job Purpose
- This role performs printing and process analysis in the printing department for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency improvement.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, and supervise all printing jobs and deliver printing lines in a timely manner
- Ensure that finished products are correctly packed, strapped and shrink wrapped
- Re-inspect and re-anneal held printed products
- Perform good quality print, design and development of printing processes including production flow, assembly methods and printing equipment.
- Establish and maintain the printing support schedule for each product to meet established release dates and improve printing process.
- Operate and monitor lehr temperatures and maintain housekeeping based on shift
- Carry out job change and maintenance of the printing machines and associated equipment and write reports on shift activities and performance
- Ensure employees comply with relevant Quality Management System (QMS), food safety, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) & Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Glass or related industry
- Expert in printing machine operation and maintenance
- Good communication skills - oral and written.
- Use of Microsoft offices - excel, words, point
- Good report writing skills.
