Job Summary
- The Operations Manager will oversee operational processes, manage project execution, and ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate will bring engineering or Quantity Surveying (QS) expertise to deliver effective solutions while optimizing business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring proper planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Lead site assessments, recommend solutions, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Optimize resource utilization and operational strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with external partners, including suppliers and contractors.
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training programs.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and analyze data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in construction or related fields.
- Strong project management skills and technical knowledge of pumps and groundwater control.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with dewatering techniques and equipment.
- Client-focused mindset with a history of delivering quality results.
- Knowledge of Nigerian regulatory standards for construction and groundwater services
