Job Summary

• The Outlet Accountant is responsible for managing all financial activities at the QSR outlet level.


• This includes maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, tracking sales and expenses, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.


• The role requires collaboration with the outlet manager and other departments to ensure efficient operations and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Financial Operations:

• Record daily sales, expenses, and other transactions in compliance with accounting standards.


• Verify and reconcile Point of Sale (POS) system reports with cash, card, and other payment methods.


• Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Cash and Banking:

• Manage cash deposits and ensure timely banking of daily collections.


• Reconcile daily cash balances and investigate discrepancies promptly.


• Monitor petty cash usage and maintain proper documentation for replenishments.

Inventory and Cost Management:

• Track and verify inventory usage, purchases, and wastage.


• Assist in monthly stock counts and ensure accurate reporting of inventory levels.


• Review procurement requests and verify vendor invoices for accuracy.

Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for the outlet, including profit and loss summaries.


• Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and company standards.


• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with the outlet manager to monitor budgets and control costs.


• Provide insights on financial performance to support decision-making at the outlet level.


• Address any financial queries or issues raised by the management.
