Job Summary




  • As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our presence in both on-trade (bars, restaurants, clubs) and off-trade (retail, wholesalers) markets.

  • You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to implement promotional strategies, ensure product availability, and maximize sales opportunities in both channels.



Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborative Planning:




  • Work with marketing and sales teams to align promotional activities.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure cohesive strategies.



Compliance Monitoring:




  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct regular audits of trade practices to maintain standards.



Budget Management:




  • Assist in developing and managing the trade marketing budget.

  • Monitor expenses related to promotional activities and ensure adherence to budget limits.



Networking and Representation:




  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company.

  • Build connections with potential clients and partners to expand business opportunities.



Sales Forecasting:




  • Prepare sales forecasts based on market analysis and historical data.

  • Collaborate with management to set realistic sales targets for trade partners.



Reporting and Analysis:




  • Compile and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning.



Trade Strategy Development:




  • Create and implement trade strategies to drive sales and market penetration.

  • Align trade initiatives with overall business objectives and brand positioning.



Relationship Management:




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retail partners.

  • Act as the main point of contact for trade partners to address issues and inquiries.



Market Analysis:




  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.

  • Analyze sales data to inform strategic decisions and optimize performance.



Promotional Planning:




  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns and in-store activations.

  • Ensure promotional materials are aligned with brand messaging and objectives.



Sales Performance Monitoring:




  • Track sales performance metrics and report findings to senior management.

  • Identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed.



Inventory Management:




  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels at retail locations.

  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and manage replenishment strategies.



Training and Support:




  • Provide training and support to trade partners on product knowledge and brand values.

  • Ensure staff is equipped to effectively promote and sell luxury products.



Knowledge, Experience & Competencies

Formal Education Required:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.



Related Professional Training, Certification or Membership:




  • Mandatory Preferred An MBA is an added advantage.



Years & Field of Experience required:




  • 3+ years of experience in trade sales or account management, preferably in the beverage sector.

  • Strong experience in HR strategy, compliance, talent management, and labor relations within a regulated industry.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
