Job Overview:
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, monitoring expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with safety and hygiene regulations.
Educational Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
