Job description 




  1. Data Entry: Entering financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets. This includes invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other financial documents.

  2. Bookkeeping: Maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This includes reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy.

  3. Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to Vendors and customers and track and follow up on unpaid invoices.

  4. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure that all transactions match and that there are no discrepancies. This includes all bank deposit, POS deposit, and transfer

  5. Expense Tracking: Track and categorize expenses, ensuring that all expenses are properly documented and authorized.

  6. Financial Reporting: Assist in generating various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

  7. Payroll Support: Facilitate payroll processing, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.

  8. Tax and VAT filing

  9. Audit Support: During financial audits,  assist by providing auditors with the necessary documentation and information they require.

  10. Vendor and Customer Communication: Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and other financial matters.

  11. Record Maintenance: Maintaining organized and secure financial records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping regulations.

  12. General Administrative Tasks: In addition to financial responsibilities, perform general administrative tasks such as filing documents, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.



Qualification




  1. BSC /HND Accounting

  2. Knowledge of Quickbooks will be a plus

  3. Work experience in a retail store chain store will be a plus



Other requirements



Candidates residing around Magodo, Isheri, and the environs will be ideal
