Responsibilities

• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications


• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together


• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints


• Assembling pieces of metal together.


• Repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape


• Polishing and smoothing out metals before welding


• Combining metal parts in overhead, vertical, or flat positions laying out, aligning, positioning, and securing metal components.

Requirements

• Previous work experience working as a welder in a similar industry


• At least 2 years.


• Bachelor's Degree / HND / NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO.
