Overview
- The Marketing Manager – Ethical is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for prescription-based (ethical) pharmaceutical products. This role involves overseeing the brand strategy, market positioning, marketing communication and promotional activities.
- The Marketing Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, medical affairs, and regulatory to effectively position the products and achieve business objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare market, KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement, and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance brand credibility among healthcare professionals.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Identify target markets, develop and implement marketing strategies and plans for DKT’s ethical pharmaceutical products that will help achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
Campaign Management:
- Design and execute promotional campaigns targeting Customers / Consumers; healthcare professionals (HCPs), including doctors, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
- Plan and organize activities to promote products and enhance brand visibility.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Health Care Professionals (HCPs), and industry stakeholders.
- Provide HCPs with product information, scientific data, and support materials to enhance their understanding and usage of ethical products.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with regulatory and legal teams to obtain necessary approvals for marketing materials and campaigns.
Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepared Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management on marketing performance and opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the Marketing Team (Ethical) to achieve set objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, medical affairs and Regulatory Unit to drive product success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Brand Management of Ethical Pharmaceutical products.
- Strong understanding of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical markets and industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical marketing practices.
