Job Summary:



The Head of Sales & Operations will drive revenue growth, optimize store operations, and enhance customer experience at Santeforte Stores. This role ensures compliance with industry regulations while improving sales performance, inventory management, and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:



Sales & Business Growth




  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.

  • Set and monitor sales targets, drive promotional campaigns, and identify new business opportunities.

  • Reduce stock expiries, out-of-stock items, and cash shortages/excess.

  • Increase fulfillment of special orders (95%) and improve customer request turnaround time.



Operations & Inventory Management




  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring seamless pharmacy and supermarket integration.

  • Optimize inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and supply chain efficiency.

  • Maintain facility cleanliness, security, and maintenance of store equipment.



Customer Experience & Financial Oversight




  • Foster a customer-centric culture, addressing complaints promptly and improving service quality.

  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.

  • Ensure accurate cash handling and compliance with financial policies.



Staff Leadership & Compliance




  • Lead and train a high-performing team, setting KPIs and promoting teamwork.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance, health, safety, and risk mitigation.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely product procurement.

  • Implement technology to enhance operational efficiency.



Qualifications & Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree/HND, Sales, Pharmacy, or a related field.

  • Over 3 years’ experience in retail or healthcare sales/operations management.

  • Proven leadership, sales growth, and operational efficiency expertise.

  • Strong communication, financial management, and customer service skills.
