Job Responsibilities:



Leadership and Mentorship




  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the brand and marketing team.

  • Allocate significant time to leading the team, ensuring members are motivated and equipped to deliver results.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development sessions.

  • Develop a team succession plan.



Strategy and Planning




  • Supervise the development and implementation of the Group brand strategy.

  • Guide the development of marketing strategies for new and existing products.

  • Supervise the creation and execution of marketing strategies for new and existing customer segments.

  • Supervise the creation and execution of marketing strategies for new and existing customer segments.

  • Supervise the creation and execution of marketing strategies for new and existing customer segments.

  • Oversee the preparation of new product marketing plans for product introductions in cooperation with senior management colleagues in Finance, Real estate, Sales, and Marketing.

  • Oversee the development of short- and long-term plans and budgetsfor the unit’s activities, monitorprogress, assure adherence, and evaluate delivery.



Brand and CampaignManagement




  • Developbrand management and marketing strategies and process suited to the needs of sales and real estate team, ensuringadherence to brand guidelines and brand regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with the sales and real estate team to createcontent documents according to brand guidelines.

  • Review commentary/interpretations of contentexperts and internalsubmissions

  • Oversee the development of promotional activities that are geared towardsunlocking value and managing the performance of the business/ brand in the marketplace.

  • Coordinate the development of marketing communications materialssuch as sales leaflets, annualreports, brochures, multimedia, etc.

  • Oversee the role out of media campaigns and other initiatives aimed at generating desired   publicity/visibility for the businessand its products.

  • Launch programsand provide relevantprofessional advice and support as appropriate.

  • Ensure brand management activities (e.g., events and sponsorships) are tailored towardsspecific target markets/products in line with the businessoverall strategic objectives.

  • Create and manage relationships with relevant partiesaimed at projecting and creating the desired awarenessfor the business e.g., mediahouses.



Department Budgeting




  • Forecast the department’s financial requirements and collaborate with Finance and Operations to craft the department’s budget.

  • Maintain budget control and ensure the department operates within its financial limits.



Vendor & External Relationships




  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements/NDAs, ImageProprietary Rights, Copyrights and Warranties

  • Submit periodicreports on ongoingactivity to the Leadership team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CCO.

  • Participate on relevant industrycommittees ensuring that the companyhas a high level of professional standing.

  • Establisha system of reports and communications for all information from the marketing team to the sales team and for feedback and request from the sales team to the marketingteam.

  • Manageall partner agenciesand service providers.



Job Requirements




  • BSc./MSc. in Marketing or any other relevant discipline

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Marketing, CSR, and corporate relations leadership roles, preferably in a Real Estate and Hospitality, Financial Services, FMCG, and Utility Payments.

  • Membership of a relevant professional organization would be an advantage.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.

  • Strong ability to make sound decisions and work independently to meet team objectives.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly and confidently present strategies to cross-functional teams, senior management and vendors.

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities.

  • Experience in the management of complex, multi-stakeholder projects and achieving goals on time and to budget.

  • Ideal candidate will have retail channel, financial services experience.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales and partner activity.

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and metrics driven.

  • Proven ability to mentor, lead, and inspire a team to achieve high performance.
