Responsibilities

We seek a Plumber who can deliver on the following:

• Operate and drive tank trucks to transport petroleum products safely and efficiently.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while transporting PMS, ATK, AGO, and LPG.


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.


• Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations.


• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of trips, deliveries, and fuel consumption.


• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.


• Utilize technology for navigation, logging trips, and communicating with dispatch.

Education and Experience:

• Valid and up-to-date driver’s license and all necessary certifications for handling petroleum products.


• Education: Must be literate (ability to read and write).


• Technical Skills: Must be technologically inclined.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience driving trucks transporting PMS, ATK, and AGO. (Experience with LPG tankers is an added advantage).


• Road Knowledge: Must have a strong understanding of traffic rules, road signs, and safety procedures.

Required Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.


• Ability to work independently and maintain schedules.


• Basic knowledge of truck inspection, preventive maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.


• Ability to read and interpret maps, road signs, and GPS for efficient trip planning.
