Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Lesson planning: Developing comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, incorporating various teaching methods to effectively cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills.
- Classroom management: Maintaining a positive and focused learning environment, establishing clear expectations, and managing student behavior.
- Teaching grammar and language fundamentals: Explaining and practicing grammatical rules, sentence structure, and proper usage of language.
- Enhancing vocabulary: Introducing new vocabulary words, teaching their meanings and usage in context, and encouraging students to actively expand their vocabulary.
- Developing reading comprehension skills: Guiding students through various reading materials, analyzing text, and teaching strategies to improve understanding.
- Cultivating writing proficiency: Teaching writing mechanics, different writing styles (e.g., essays, reports, creative writing), and providing feedback on written assignments.
- Promoting effective communication skills: Facilitating discussions, encouraging active participation, and developing students' ability to express themselves clearly both orally and in writing.
- Assessing student progress: Administering tests, quizzes, and other assessments to evaluate student learning and identify areas for improvement.
