Job Summary




  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager / Assistant – Electrical with a strong background in electrical installations, preventive & corrective maintenance of factory equipment.

  • The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repairs of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Slaughterhouse experience is preferable.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for factory electrical systems and equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in factory and slaughterhouse machinery.

  • Ensure timely repairs and servicing of all electrical installations to minimize downtime.

  • Manage and supervise a team of electrical technicians and engineers.

  • Maintain detailed service records and reports on all maintenance activities.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors for procurement of electrical components and materials.

  • Monitor budget and costs related to electrical maintenance and repairs.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members.

  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations of maintenance personnel.



Requirements




  • Education: B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Professional Membership: Membership of NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers) and COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) is a must.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in maintenance within an FMCG/Slaughterhouse/Factory Equipment environment, with at least 6 years in a managerial role.

  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical installations in factory settings.

  • Leadership & Management Skills: Ability to lead and develop a team of technicians and ensure high performance.

  • Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.

  • Location: Must be residing in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
