Key Responsibilities
Menu planning and creation: Develop and implement new menus, recipes, and culinary concepts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Kitchen management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
Team leadership: Lead, motivate, and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Food safety and hygiene: Ensure that the kitchen operates in compliance with all relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
Inventory management: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively.
Customer service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their culinary needs are met.
Budgeting and cost control: Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and ensure that financial targets are met.
Qualifications
OND or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or food service establishment with a speciality in Western delicacies.
