Job Description

• The teacher's job description includes planning lessons, teaching students, and assessing their progress. The Teachers also create learning environments, collaborate with colleagues, and promote student success.

Teaching:

• Develop lesson plans based on curriculum guidelines


• Teach students in a variety of subjects


• Give lectures, demonstrate tasks, and assign homework


• Encourage student participation and discussion


• Create worksheets and other learning resources

Assessing:

• Evaluate student progress in key learning areas


• Develop and mark exams to measure student progress


• Assess and report on student academic achievements and behavior

Planning:

• Plan academic events and activities


• Plan and oversee community outreach activities


• Design and facilitate personalized learning goals and activities

Collaborating:

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents


• Recruit, train, and supervise tutors


• Network with local school and community groups

Other Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of class attendance


• Keep the classroom neat and organized


• Educate students on following school's moral codes and behaviors

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields with 3 - 4 years work experience.
