Job Overview:



We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist to provide high-quality oral healthcare to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, creating treatment plans, performing procedures, and offering preventative care to ensure patients maintain optimal oral health.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Diagnose and Treat: Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and mouth to diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.

  • Perform Procedures: Conduct a wide range of dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, and preventive treatments like cleanings and fluoride applications.

  • Develop Treatment Plans: Design personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs, preferences, and current oral health.

  • Educate Patients: Provide guidance and education to patients about proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care to maintain oral health.

  • Perform Preventive Care: Conduct regular cleanings, take X-rays, and provide fluoride treatments to prevent dental issues.

  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Maintain Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of patient treatments, diagnoses, and care plans.

  • Stay Informed: Continuously update knowledge of the latest dental practices, technologies, and procedures.

  • Manage Emergencies: Respond to dental emergencies in a timely and professional manner, providing immediate care and follow-up treatment as necessary.



Qualifications:




  • Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.

  • Licensing: Active state dental license.



Skills




  • Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, anatomy, and techniques.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and satisfaction.

  • Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple patients.

  • Comfort with using dental technology, such as digital X-rays and CAD/CAM systems.



Physical Requirements:




  • Ability to perform tasks requiring dexterity and precision.

  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods during procedures.

  • Comfortable working with patients in close proximity.
