- We are looking for an experienced and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Oversee and maintain accurate general ledger entries, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded appropriately.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and advise management on potential impacts.
- Support external auditors during the audit process and provide necessary documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Provide financial insights to senior management to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Offer recommendations for improving financial performance, cost-saving measures, and revenue generation strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Operations, and Procurement, to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications and Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- This position requires a professional certification (e.g., ICAN,ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software (ZOHO) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Available to resume within 1 weeks- 2 WEEKS
- Must reside on the island (proximity to location is key)
