The opportunity
The Safety and Security Officer will be responsible for assessments, security related guidance and enforce implementation of security policies, guidelines and procedures for the smooth implementation of the Accelerating Basic Education and Livelihood Opportunities for Children and Youth in North Western Nigeria Project with the support of the Head of Safety, Security and Government Protocol.
About You
- We are looking for candidate with University degree in Occupational Health & Safety or any related field.
- The candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Security, Health and Safety Management or similar capacity.
- S/he should demonstrate good understanding of national security related issues and their relations to Plan International Nigeria context.
- The candidate should have experience in conducting participatory risk assessment and preparing situational analysis including the analysis of factors from both the internal and external environments, identifying crucial risks that have to be addressed, setting objectives and developing plans of action.
