We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee the operations and business growth of our travel and tour firm.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in travel agency management, expertise in using GDS tools such as Amadeus and Galileo, and a strategic mindset to drive revenue and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily operations of the travel agency, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Oversee ticketing, reservations, and travel bookings using Amadeus and Galileo.
Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners.
Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative services to enhance customer experience.
Implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and best practices.
Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost optimization for business profitability.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
Handle crisis management and swiftly resolve operational challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Travel Agency Manager in a reputable travel firm.
Proficiency in GDS tools such as Amadeus and Galileo is a must.
Strong leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
