Job Summary
- The Telesales Officer will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients, promoting the organization’s HMO or Insurance products, and driving sales through telephone interactions.
- The role requires excellent communication skills, sales acumen, and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact potential clients to introduce and explain HMO or Insurance products and services.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets within designated timelines.
- Follow up on leads promptly to maximize conversion rates.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HMO and Insurance products and services.
- Tailor product presentations to address the specific needs of potential clients.
- Build rapport with clients to foster long-term relationships.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science discipline or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of cognate experience in telesales, preferably within the HMO or Insurance industry.
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills to engage clients effectively.
- Strong ability to persuade and negotiate with clients to close sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding telesales targets.
- Proficiency in managing leads and tracking sales activities systematically.
- Familiarity with the HMO or Insurance sector is highly desirable.
