Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles, experience with various technologies, and a knack for creating user-friendly, visually appealing websites. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and improving our company's web presence and online functionality.  

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain websites using [HTML, CSS, JavaScript,  and other relevant technologies].


• Build and implement responsive and mobile-first designs to ensure websites perform seamlessly across devices.


• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time.


• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.


• Ensure the security of websites by implementing best practices and safeguarding user data.


• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring website functionality remains consistent.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, frameworks, and trends.


• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or others as required.


• Test website functionality and conduct usability tests to enhance user experience.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.


• Proficiency in SquareSpace.


• Familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.


• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.


• Knowledge of SEO principles and how to implement them in web development.


• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.


• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).


• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).


• Experience web developer with a proven record of SquareSpace use.
