Job Summary
- We are seeking to hire a Business Development Associate that will be able to work with our business development team to drive the businesses and prospects of the company.
Responsibilities
- To source for farmers that have cassava products for sale.
- To ensure that the company meets revenue targets.
- To work with executives on how to improve the existing business and create new opportunities/businesses.
- To explore, appraise and develop new opportunities and low-hanging fruits, thereby contributing to the profitability of the business.
- To ensure offtakers/purchasers for company’s products
- To Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and other periodical reports as may be decided by Management.
- To develop business plans and other business analysis documents where necessary or delegated.
- To conduct market research/surveys where necessary or delegated.
- To source for other raw materials/ offtakers of company’s products at best pricing, and as may be delegated.
- And any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirement / Qualifications
- B.Sc / B.Tech in Agric or BSC in Business Administration with a good knowledge of Agricultural practices.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Business Development Associate in a similar organization or a well-structured organization is required.
- Ability to write a business proposal.
- Strong research and business analysis skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with local farmers.
- Ability to carry out assignments quantitatively and qualitatively without supervision.
- Ability to use GPS and Drone will be an added advantage.
- Must be ready to relocate.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
