Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant:
- Dishwashing: Washing, drying, and storing all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables, prepping meats, and measuring ingredients as directed by chefs.
- Inventory Management: Rotating stock, checking expiration dates, and restocking kitchen supplies.
- Cleaning Stations: Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, appliances, and kitchen equipment.
- Waste Disposal: Properly disposing of food scraps and kitchen waste.
- Basic Cooking Tasks: Assisting with simple cooking tasks like boiling water, frying food, or preparing basic sauces.
Key Responsibilities of a Housekeeper:
- General Cleaning:Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows, and wiping down surfaces.
- Bathroom Cleaning:Cleaning toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, and mirrors
- Laundry Management:Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
- Room Maintenance:Making beds, tidying up clutter, and replenishing supplies in bedrooms
- Organization:Maintaining a clean and organized living space by decluttering and putting items away
- Special Cleaning Tasks:Deep cleaning projects like upholstery cleaning, carpet shampooing, or window treatments as needed
