Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate all Quality Management System (QMS) activities in the Plant.
- Coordinate all Quality related RCA with applicable action plan.
- Ensure document control for policies, procedures, and processes are maintained.
- Preparation of applicable Process SOPs and technical specification
- Follow up on equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement for the Laboratory.
- Document Process/product Change control Management System and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
- Coordinate Quality Control Laboratory activities/Process control for Raw, Packaging Materials and Finished good analysis.
- Work closely with SON for renewal of applicable certificate.
- Conduct Quality Risk Management for all Process stages and ensure mitigation plans are established and followed up.
- Anchor and Participate in all Product complaint processes and ensure RCA analysis are carried out to prevent reoccurrence,
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure conformity with packaging designs, specifications.
- Engage in Suppliers /Vendor audit and evaluation for local vendors.
- Preparation and co- approval of Packaging material artworks for new and existing vendors.
- Ensure compliance to cGMP of manufacturing processes and personnel.
- Conduct QMS trainings for operations departments. (Production. Engineering, QA/QC, Warehouse).
- Track daily process/Product deviation for applicable investigation.
- Carry out Process validation and Equipment Qualifications.
Key Performance Indicators
- Zero Product Recall
- No customer complaint resulted from process failure or poor-Quality checks.
- Achieved Customer Satisfaction through customer feedback.
- Acquire all regulatory and compliance licenses for the business operations with all relevant government bodies
- The quality aspect in Overall Equipment Effectiveness is achieved and sustained
- Achieved >95% Quality training planned for the year.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Academic qualifications
- B.Sc /HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or any other Science related discipline with over 5 years working experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals , Plastic industries . preferably a supervisory role.
Professional qualifications
- Member of Institute of Chemist of Nigeria (a plus)
- Strong knowledge of QMS.
- Strong Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strong management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams
- Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
Work experience:
- 5 years’ previous experience as Quality Officer/ Team lead or Supervisor.
