Job Summary




  • The Marketer will be responsible for promoting the hair salon’s services and products, driving customer engagement, increasing foot traffic, and fostering brand awareness. 

  • This role requires creativity, a customer-focused approach, and a strong understanding of marketing strategies tailored to the beauty and hair industry.



Responsibilities

Digital Marketing




  • Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).

  • Running ads on platforms like Google, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Content creation (graphics, posts, and captions).

  • Search engine optimization (SEO) for your website or online platforms.

  • Email marketing campaigns to retain customers.



Brand Promotion




  • Design flyers, posters, and banners.

  • Create visual content for your salon and products (photos/videos).

  • Handle your social media profile, taking and uploading product photos.



Field Marketing (Offline)




  • Distribute flyers in your target areas (near schools, hotels, and residential areas).

  • Network with nearby businesses to create partnerships (e.g., with schools or hotels).

  • Plan and execute local events or promotions to attract foot traffic.



Analytics and Strategy




  • Analyze the success of campaigns and make adjustments to improve.

  • Develop a consistent marketing calendar for all thebusinesses.



Person Specification




  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in marketing preferably in the beauty, fashion or hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for the beauty industry.

  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) are an advantage.

  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Customer-focused and approachable.

  • Self-motivated and proactive.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

  • An understanding of the beauty and wellness industry’suniquedemands.
