Job Summary
- The Marketer will be responsible for promoting the hair salon’s services and products, driving customer engagement, increasing foot traffic, and fostering brand awareness.
- This role requires creativity, a customer-focused approach, and a strong understanding of marketing strategies tailored to the beauty and hair industry.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Running ads on platforms like Google, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Content creation (graphics, posts, and captions).
- Search engine optimization (SEO) for your website or online platforms.
- Email marketing campaigns to retain customers.
Brand Promotion
- Design flyers, posters, and banners.
- Create visual content for your salon and products (photos/videos).
- Handle your social media profile, taking and uploading product photos.
Field Marketing (Offline)
- Distribute flyers in your target areas (near schools, hotels, and residential areas).
- Network with nearby businesses to create partnerships (e.g., with schools or hotels).
- Plan and execute local events or promotions to attract foot traffic.
Analytics and Strategy
- Analyze the success of campaigns and make adjustments to improve.
- Develop a consistent marketing calendar for all thebusinesses.
Person Specification
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing preferably in the beauty, fashion or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for the beauty industry.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) are an advantage.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
