The Legal Perfection Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the perfection of security interests/collaterals, ensuring that all legal documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of legal processes, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage and oversee the perfection of security interests, including the preparation, review, and filing of all necessary legal documents.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Liaise with external legal counsel, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of all legal documentation and filings.

  • Conduct thorough reviews and audits of security interest documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on legal perfection matters.

  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the company on necessary adjustments.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the perfection of security interests.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification would be a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal perfection, corporate law, or a related field within the financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of security interest/collateral management laws, regulations, and best practices specific to SME and corporate lending.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in legal research and documentation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
