  • Providing product support: This may include troubleshooting technical issues, guiding customers on product usage, and offering advice on the best solutions for their needs.

  • Processing orders and transactions: Depending on the industry, CSRs might handle order placements, cancellations, returns, and refunds.

  • Maintaining customer records: Accurate documentation of customer interactions and issues is crucial for tracking and future reference.

  • Escalating complex issues: When necessary, CSRs need to escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate teams or supervisors.
