Job Summary




  • The Business Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Company. 

  • This role ensures smooth and efficient service, maintains high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction, manages staff performance, and contributes to the overall profitability of the business.



Responsibilities




  • Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house and/or back-of-house operations.

  • Ensure smooth and efficient service flow during peak hours and throughout the day.

  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.

  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed according to established guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements (if applicable).

  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members.

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Create staff schedules and manage time off requests.

  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.

  • Proactively address customer needs and anticipate potential issues.

  • Build rapport with regular customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Handle customer feedback and complaints with professionalism and empathy.

  • Assist in managing cash handling procedures and ensuring accuracy.

  • Control costs related to food, labor, and other expenses.

  • Assist in inventory management and control.

  • Utilize social media platforms to engage with customers.



Qualifications




  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in the food service industry.

  • Strong understanding of restaurant/food business operations.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., POS systems, inventory management software).
