Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory and materials at our engineering site. 


• The ideal candidate will have 0-1 year of experience, hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and possess knowledge of mechanical and engineering materials/equipment. 


• The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to ensure smooth inventory operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming mechanical and engineering materials, tools, and equipment.


• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of stock movements.


• Issue materials and tools to engineers and technicians based on work requirements.


• Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering of materials to prevent shortages.


• Ensure proper storage and labeling of items to maintain quality and prevent damage.


• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.


• Work closely with procurement, engineering, and site teams to ensure smooth operations.


• Enforce safety and compliance guidelines in material handling and storage.


• Maintain an organized and clean store area to facilitate efficient retrieval of items.


• Prepare periodic inventory and usage reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.


• 0 - 1 year of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a related role.


• Familiarity with mechanical and engineering materials, tools, and equipment.


• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.


• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.


• Attention to detail and ability to work in a structured manner.


• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.


• Knowledge of safety regulations in handling and storing engineering materials is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.


• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.


• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to inventory control.
