Responsibilities
Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant underwriters to create health insurance coverthat works for low income earners.
Policy Management: Handling the administration of insurance policies, including processing new policies, renewals, and cancellations.
Customer Service: Serving as a point of contact for policyholders, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and claims promptly and professionally.
Claims Processing: Managing the claims process, which may include verifying coverage, assessing claim validity, and coordinating payments to healthcare providers or policyholders.
Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of policies, claims, and customer information within the company's database or software systems.
Qualifications
Relevant Degree in any discipline.
Problem-solving abilities: Ability to think critically and resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
Patience and empathy: Handle customers’ frustrations or concerns with patience and understanding.
Technical proficiency: Comfort with using various software platforms, CRMs, and troubleshooting tools.
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously while maintaining quality.
Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately.
