  Job Summary   




  • The Branch Leader is responsible for driving business growth, increasing market share, and ensuring operational excellence within the assigned branch. 

  • This role requires a seasoned banking professional with a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in relationship management, credit administration, and business development.  



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to expand the bank’s market share and increase account acquisition.

  • Lead and manage branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and internal controls.

  • Drive deposit mobilization, loan growth, and overall profitability while maintaining a healthy portfolio.

  • Monitor credit risk, oversee loan appraisals, and ensure strict adherence to credit policies.

  • Provide strong leadership, coaching, and performance management to branch staff.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous training and motivation of team members.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, SMEs, and corporate organizations.

  • Ensure seamless digital banking adoption, increasing usage of Cards, Online Banking, and Instant Banking services.

  • Monitor and initiate recovery actions for non-performing loans (NPL) to maintain asset quality.

  • Prepare and submit timely performance reports to regional heads and senior management.

  • Retail Customer Acquisition & Deposit Growth 

  • SME Deposit & Loan Growth 

  • Trade Volumes & Export Proceeds 

  • Digital Banking Adoption (Cards, Instant Banking, Online Banking) 

  • Non-Performing Loan (NPL) Ratio 

  • Internal Audit Rating & Regulatory Compliance 

  • Overall Branch Profitability (PBT).



Requirements




  • First Degree in Social Sciences, Accounting, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 6–7 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, credit administration, financial analysis, and risk management.

  • Exceptional people management, business development, and strategic planning abilities.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
