The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration for MEPF & ELV projects. They will work closely with project teams to minimize costs, enhance value, and ensure quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
Assist in tracking changes in plans or constructions, update budgets.
Document progress, materials and reports on project
Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Project managers, design department and/or the client.
Undertake cost and Tender analysis for company’s projects
Assist in establishing client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
Make valuations and ensure quality control of work done
Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.
Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
Follow up to ensure deliverables are being created on schedule
Value completed work and arrange payments.
Arrange payments to suppliers and sub-contractors
Requirements
University Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in the building services industry with a focus on Electromechanical, Firefighting, HVAC, plumbing and Extra-Low Voltage systems projects.
Professional certification with Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (QSRBN) and other Professional bodies will be an added advantage.
