Role Overview




  • The Business Development Officer will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and implementing strategies to increase revenue. The ideal candidate is results-driven, creative, and skilled in building strong client relationships.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the brand’s reach particularly in the corporate sector.

  • Research and identify potential clients within the target market.

  • Reach out to prospects, deliver compelling presentations, and convert leads into clients.

  • Provide leadership to the Business Development and Partnerships team, manage the team affairs and monitor team performance.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Corporate Communications team, Procurement Managers, Event Planners, HR Managers, Operation Managers and decision makers in organizations for the purpose of increasing the brand’s reach and network.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting Escapade’s products and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement campaigns that drive client engagement.

  • Collaborate with the Content and Marketing team to create relevant content tailored to the needs of our target audience.

  • Prepare detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on sales, forecasts, on business development activities.

  • Develop commission/ reward systems for the different stakeholders within the company.

  • Present findings and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years in a Business Development, Sales, or related role with at least 2 years experience as a Manager.

  • Prior experience in consulting, advertising or marketing agencies.
