• Seamless journeys start with you! Ensure safety, service, and efficiency as a Station Agent, delivering top-tier passenger, baggage, and aircraft handling every step of the way.

Responsibilities

The Station Agent Lufthansa Group Port Harcourt is responsible for:

• Take appropriate measures in case of volume-, weight- and trim-critical flights


• Transmit the necessary messages and data


• Carry out post-flight duties including preparation of mandatory documentation and statistics


• Ensure necessary communication with relevant local and central departments


• Ensure safe and efficient turnaround operation, with a focus on the aircraft handling activities below the wing based on the respective airline manuals


• Ensure the aircraft is loaded in accordance with the corresponding loading instruction


• Provide information and assistance in connection with all customer concerns during normal operation and irregularities


• Ensure that all measures are taken to guarantee a smooth operational procedure in accordance with rules and regulations


• Participate in other duties as assigned

Requirements

The ideal Station Agent Lufthansa Group Port Harcourt should meet the following requirements:

• Candidates should possess a High School Degree


• 1-3 years of working experience desirable


• Fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written


• Driving license


• PC skills


• Diligent and systematic approach to work


• Ability to work on own initiative


• Desire to give excellent service


• Sales skills, confident manner


• Ability to work under pressure


• Team player


• Well-groomed appearance


• Knowledge of German desirable


• Lifting of luggage up to 23kg/70lb


• Must be willing to work shifts


• Must possess a legal work permit in Nigeria.
