This job role is to disseminate accurate and timely information about the company’s products and services and maintain smooth and cordial relationships with the media and within the communities where we do business to create a conducive environment to delivering stakeholders value in line with the company’s Business goals. 



Job Requirements




  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Humanities.

  2. Member of NIPR, APCON, or similar bodies is required.

  3. At least 10 years post-graduation experience with at least 5 years cognate experience in media / public relations or corporate communications is an added advantage

Job Responsibility




  1. Ensuring the implementation of the corporate communication plan at the regional level.  

  2. Manage Public Relations & Publicity portfolio of the business. 

  3. Ensures Media relations, crisis management, and mitigation of negative press.  

  4. Development of content for press releases, media features, and coordination of media happenings and updates that affect the power sector. 

  5. Develop and coordinate proactive and reactive community engagements.  

  6. Effective deployment of marketing collaterals and communication at the regions. 

  7. Develop and manage newsletters to communicate, educate, and engage targeted audiences. 

  8. Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders. Carry out any other duties as directed by the Head of Branding & Corporate Communication. 

  9. Intel gathering skills
