PURPOSE

Required to manage the daily operations of FMN-Apapa Free Trade Zone, which includes coordinating operational activities, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements, optimizing operational efficiency, reporting directly to the Head - FZMC.

THE JOB

• Foster strategic relationships with key government agencies, including Customs, Immigration, NEPZA, and NPA, to facilitate seamless operations within Flour Mills Apapa - FTZ.


• Act as a mediator between these agencies and FMAFTZ management to address their requirements and concerns.


• Prepare drafts, letters, and all correspondences between the Free Trade Zone and its enterprises, as well as government agencies (especially NEPZA).


• Maintain adherence with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Free Trade Zone regulations, governing all activities and operations within the zone.


• Provide prompt attention to requests from enterprises within the Zone.


• Manage collaborative relationships with government authorities and agencies to stay informed about updates, changes, and developments in operational procedures and regulations governing Nigerian Export Processing Zones.


• Provide supervisory oversight and coordination to supervisors and officers within the Zone management company, ensuring effective team management and operational efficiency

THE PERSON MUST

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to pay great attention to details and be analytical.


• Strategic thinking mindset and experience in developing project roadmaps.


• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

QUALIFICATION

• B.Sc. in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management.


• Professional Certification: Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS) will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role.
