Job Description

• To provide technical service to support activities related to the operation, modification and maintenance of electrical & instrumentation systems associated with Company assets / vessels are fully operational to support production and shipment, including the operation of electrical distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all electrical installations which include but not limited to alternators, control systems, electric motors, shutdown/control panels, electrically enunciated instruments, charging systems, pumps


• Maintains service records and schedules for all equipment as required


• To collate, prepare and keep list of spare parts needed for part inventory management and repairs


• Fault analysis of power, distribution and control system


• Maintenance of motorized control centre, power panels, switch gears, synchronizing panels, distribution boards and power supply cables


• Overhaul of electrical equipment to include component replacements, alignments and calibration to specifications


• Field calibration of totalizer and other control circuitry, utilizing proper test equipment • Design and installation of new equipment control circuits, modification of existing instrument/ electrical systems as requested, to include design load and Implementation of new control logic


• Fault analysis of hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits (Single and Three phase) and common utility / lighting circuits


• Earthen system survey, monitoring and maintenance.


• Audit of electrical equipment within the facility


• Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of CP systems


• Daily reporting of electrical/electronic facility performance status.


• Ensure the implementation of preventive/predictive maintenance of electrical/electronic/ Control equipment


• Upgrade and maintenance of Cathodic protection units (Flow station & pipelines)


• Installation and maintenance of pumps and electric motors

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering


• 5 Years cognate experience in maintenance/ repair of electrical machines, electronic/ digital control circuitry and panel


• Proficiency in the use of computer and engineering softwares


• Knowledgeable in As-built electrical drawings and interpretation


• Knowledgeable in design and installation of instrumentation and control equipment
