Primary Responsibilities

• Identify diseases and causes for concern and mitigate those risks immediately


• Have an eye to spot issues that may lead to mortality before they happen


• Recommend vaccinations.


• Research parasite and disease control.


• Investigate and analyse different management practices.


• Devise more efficient feeding techniques.


• Research environmental conditions to determine their effect on the quality and quantity of animal products.


• Study nutritional requirements of animals and nutritive values of animal feed materials.


• Make tests on how to improve the immune system of the livestock.

Minimum Requirement

• Must have B.Sc / HND in Animal Science or Farm Management.


• Must possess at least 3 years experience in Animal Science and farm management.


• Must understand the dynamics of large scale poultry farming and egg production


• Must live around Abeokuta/Sagamu, Ogun State.
