The National Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and driving growth across all regions in Nigeria.
This role requires an experienced sales leader with a strong background in the Food and Beverage FMCG industry, a deep understanding of market dynamics (Online and Offline), and a strategic mindset to ensure revenue targets are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives to increase market share and profitability across the different regions of the country.
Export Market Expansion: Identify and develop export opportunities for products, building relationships with international distributors and clients to grow the brand outside Nigeria.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales teams, including Area Sales Managers, to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Digital/Online Marketing: Collaborate with our partners to develop and oversee digital strategies for online sales channels, ensuring effective use of e-commerce platforms, social media, and digital advertising.
Budget Management: Oversee the national sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize returns on investment.
Key Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 4 years in a managerial role overseeing national or regional sales.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in driving sales growth and managing large sales teams in a competitive market.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across Nigeria to support regional teams and meet with clients.
