Job Summary




  • Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology vision and strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives. 

  • The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation, shaping the company's digital roadmap, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology initiatives.



Job Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and growth plans in the fintech space.

  • Shape the digital roadmap to ensure the successful implementation of technology initiatives, enabling business scalability and enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Oversee the technical operations of the company, including systems architecture, software development, network infrastructure, cloud services, and data security.

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to cross-functional teams, including the Engineering Team, Infrastructure & Cloud Services, Quality Assurance & Governance, Enterprise Applications & Database Support, and AI/Data Science team.

  • Lead the implementation of robust data security practices and policies, ensuring compliance with fintech regulations and best practices.

  • Manage the development, maintenance, and scaling of cloud infrastructure and network systems to ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions.

  • Manage risk assessment processes to identify potential vulnerabilities in IT systems and mitigate threats before they impact the business.

  • Collaborate closely with other senior leaders, particularly the CEO, to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with overall business strategies and operational goals.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Managing Director and other key stakeholders regarding the progress of technology projects and overall IT performance.



Person Specification




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are an advantage.

  • Minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in a senior technology position within the fintech or financial services industry.

  • Demonstrated expertise in systems architecture, cloud infrastructure management, network security, software development, and data analytics in a high-growth environment.

  • Proven ability to manage and lead large technology teams across multiple disciplines (engineering, infrastructure, AI/data science, and IT governance).

  • Extensive experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing large-scale technology investments.

  • Strong understanding of financial services industry regulations and the unique security challenges of financial services.

  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), infrastructure scaling, network systems, and cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Expertise in leveraging data analytics, AI, and machine learning technologies to enhance fintech product offerings and drive operational efficiencies.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance in financial services.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments, influence stakeholders, and present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
