Role Summary
- We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the marketing aspects of our comprehensive GTM strategy.
- Your primary focus will be to drive world-class marketing campaigns that boost retail pharmacy sales while running B2C channel experiments (e.g., online retail pharmacy, e-commerce) to uncover new distribution opportunities.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive product positioning, compelling storytelling, and consistent brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Campaign Development & Execution: Develop and implement robust marketing campaigns that support our GTM goals and contribute to achieving our sales targets.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage digital analytics tools to track performance, adjust strategies in real-time, and optimize resource allocation.
Product Positioning & Launch
- Storytelling & Messaging: Craft and refine product narratives that highlight the unique benefits of our hardware and software solution, ensuring differentiation in a competitive market.
- Launch Excellence: Lead product launch initiatives, coordinating with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless market introduction.
B2C Channel Experimentation
- Innovative Channel Testing: Design and run experiments in alternative B2C channels such as online retail pharmacy and e-commerce, identifying new avenues for growth.
- Channel Performance Analysis: Evaluate pilot results, report findings, and recommend adjustments to enhance market penetration.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work in close collaboration with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure unified messaging and strategic alignment.
- Regular Reporting: Provide data-backed insights and performance reports to executive leadership, facilitating agile decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Product Marketing Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product or digital marketing, with a proven track record of successfully launching new products and managing integrated go-to-market strategies.
- Strong Messaging and Positioning: Expertise in crafting clear, impactful product messaging that resonates with target customers and drives adoption.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficient in digital marketing, including content marketing, social media, and email marketing, with experience in running multi-channel campaigns.
- Data-Driven Approach: Skilled in analyzing marketing performance and using tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Heap Analytics to measure and optimize campaigns.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively across product, sales, and design teams.
- Creativity and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to marketing challenges, particularly in resource-constrained environments.
- Understanding of the Nigerian Market: Familiarity with the Nigerian market, especially within the healthcare and pharmacy sectors, is a strong plus.
