SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible to generate all design drawing, maintain existing ones, securing soft copies, transferring the CAD drawing into NC programme and ensuring that designs are given to the products

.MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Generate, sketch and draft all internal drawing required in the plant.


• Translate all sketches into the applicable CAD programme(s) and CNC machine programmes.


• Inspects the in-process and finished products from the machines to ensure the efficacy of the design and follow up at different production stages to ensure completion of job orders as per the required quantity.


• Authorize to inspect and identify non conformity and stop production if need be.


• Responsible for the security, adequacy and accuracy of all company’s drawings (hard and soft copies) and other equipment under his position.


• Reports to the Metal Work Supervisor.

Requirement

• B.SC/B.Eng in Civil Engineering/Mech. Eng./Architecture or any other related field with good knowledge of CAD design like Auto CAD, solid works, modeling and NC programming.


• Minimum of 2 years experience of CAD design in sheet metal processing plant


• Good knowledge of measuring instruments such as caliper, tri square etc.
