Job Overview




  • The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing and supplier relationships for our retail operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels while maintaining cost-effectiveness.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with retail business objectives

  • Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store management to forecast purchasing needs

  • Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

  • Coordinate with the accounting department for budget alignment and payment processing

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain quality standards



Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • 3+ years of procurement experience in retail environment

  • Proven track record of vendor management and negotiation

  • Strong understanding of retail inventory management

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellence in analytical and problem-solving skills.
