Job Summary

• The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating industrial forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack goods safely and efficiently. The role involves ensuring the accurate transportation of materials within the warehouse, production facility, or loading areas while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the facility.


• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage areas safely and efficiently.


• Ensure materials are stacked and stored properly to prevent damage or hazards.


• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure proper functionality.


• Keep accurate records of materials moved and report any discrepancies.


• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial setting.


• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in material handling.


• Ability to operate different types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack).


• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
