Job Overview

• The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of retail operations, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable


• Reconcile store sales, cash handling, and bank deposits


• Process and verify expense reports and purchase orders


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements


• Monitor and analyze retail-specific KPIs and metrics


• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting


• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures


• Coordinate with the procurement team for vendor payments


• Manage payroll processing and related tax requirements


• Support during audits and tax preparation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 3+ years of accounting experience in retail environment


• Strong knowledge of retail accounting principles and practices


• Proficiency in accounting software and POS systems


• Experience with financial reporting and analysis


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
