Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices or purchase orders.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations to ensure easy retrieval.
- Maintain accurate stock records, update inventory databases, and generate reports.
- Issue materials and supplies as needed, ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Monitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders when necessary.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage conditions for all goods.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized storage area.
- Assist in disposing of damaged or expired inventory according to company guidelines.
Requirements
- A Degree in logistics or supply chain management or related field.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory officer, or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management and basic accounting principles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
