Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB
- Maintain and coordinate the HOO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and related arrangements
- Typing, formatting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations.
- Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence;
- Maintains office schedule by picking-up and delivering items
- Serve as a liaison between the HOO, managers, and other members of staff
- Answer and respond to phone calls; communicate messages and information to the HOO
- Keep the HOO informed of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Support the HOO’s efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of his daily work routine
- Ensure a clean workspace by getting the janitors to carry out routine cleaning exercise promptly
- Carry out any other responsibilities as assigned by the HOO
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Business Admin, Secretariat Studies, Economics or any related course, 1 year maximum post NYSC experience as a Personal Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretary, Receptionist or similar role
