Responsibilities

• Crop Management Activities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise crop planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting activities.


• Team Supervision: Lead and manage farm workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.


• Equipment Oversight: Operate and maintain farming equipment to ensure optimal performance.


• Quality Control: Monitor crop health and address pest, weed, and disease management issues.


• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including yields, expenses, and resource usage.


• Compliance: Ensure adherence to agricultural safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.Report all farm activities to line manager promptly

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).


• Proven experience as a farm supervisor or similar role in crop production.


• Strong knowledge of agricultural techniques and farm equipment.


• Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physically demanding tasks.


• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.


• Familiarity with crop-specific requirements [e.g., Cassava, Maize, Plantain,etc.].
